Bama fans, are y’all ready for a new coach right now or ride with Saban until he retires?

T-Bob Hebert and Aaron Murray had AJ McCarron on their podcast yesterday and he brought up that he thinks Saban will retire after this season and that was he was hearing from people in Tuscaloosa. Are y’all ready for him to retire and start a new chapter with a new coach or still ride with Saban a few more years?

I’m with Nick. He’s earned the right to call it quits when he wants.

2025 five_fivesix might have a different opinion.

If he wins a championship this year I could see retirement. I doubt that he wins a championship this year.

I'm not "ready" for him to retire, but if that's what he wants, he's earned it. I'd be OK with that.
I can't speak for other Bama fans, but if he does retire, I hope Bama gives serious consideration to Jamie Chadwell.

Ask them after another loss. Now they are back to the "he's winning a NC and Milroe is great" bit.

It would really depend on if UGA wins again this year (which I doubt they do). If the sec doesn't win the NC then they won't care.

Nick has earned the right to do whatever he wants to do. Do your thing Nick. If he wants to beat trainers in the face with his schlong that's fine with me.

If you're going to make shite up at least make it believable.

Bitch, I've been the only one calling for a new OC since the moment that dickless count was hired.

Also, LSU fans would have deported him to the Taliban already if the roles were reversed.

It’s got to be Lane. It’s a safe move. It’s someone Saban trusts and someone who looks up to Saban and would run the program his way.

You don’t want a guy to come in and start trying to change everything and do it their way. Dabo is a Bama guy but at this point he’s so stuck in his ways he’d run the program into the ground by refusing to adapt.

Unless Alabama finds a game manager QB, and offensive line, that’s not happening

6 national championships since 2009. um, think I'll go with Saban. Fans that want Saban gone after a loss or because the team isn't as good as it was for that 12 year stretch have no idea what they're asking for. Once Saban retires Bama could easily go back to what they were pre-Saban. Every team is one bad coaching hire from disaster.
