I apologize for any of my fellow fans that may come across as butthurt, he was an awesome recruit and it hurt to lose him to ya'll. I remember his pick in the UA all-american game, and it looked exactly like Mo Claiborne's pick against Bama the way he picked it and brought it down with one hand in the manner he did. I got excited only to be crushed a few minutes later. Being in Oxford didn't help the atmosphere either . At least I got a little bit of comic relief hearing Ole Miss students talk about a "Red and Blue National Champion"

What in the Hell are you talking about? I have not once, on any Alabama message board, seen him compared to a Heisman Trophy RB. We feel we have signed a top notch safety that can be even better than Mark Barron.

wait wait wait...we pick up the #1 safety recruit FROM LA who is widely regarded as one of the best in this recruiting class and you don't like seeing us be excited to see this kid play?

I don't think any rational fan would say he's gonna have an impact like reggie bush did but come on. the guys a STUD.

Go celebrate kwon alexander or someone y'all got

No, we'll celebrate the player we got from Texas who might be just as good if not better - S Corey Thompson from Texas, who would not have come here had Collins done so.

Then do it instead of complaining.

For the record, I'm excited but the class but I'm not going to go crazy like some people are claiming that "all Bama fans" are doing. Last few years these classes have been the norm so I'm just going to smile. As for LC the only reason people are up in arms about it is because we did snag him out of Louisiana, and he committed on national TV a few days before the goose egg, which is why it's more of a big deal that signing the actual classes. Honestly people just need to relax and let that stuff go.

I hoped some of these folks could move on now that January is over with, but the bitterness is still very strong.. Maybe March will be the ticket..

I would think its safe to say the everything about LC's signing was legit. We all know that his mom would spill the beans in a heartbeat if she had any evidence about wrongdoings.

I'm not saying that I believe there is any evidence of wrongdoing, but if she did that wouldn't it ruin her sons elligibility? Also, if it just ruined his elligibility at bama which put him at LSU, he would probably resent her for it, and could jeapordize his future, which she probably wouldn't want either

I've come to terms with it, and don't think I qualify as "mad" anymore
