Auburn slips past Vandy in the SECCG.
Kodi Burns beats Tebow for Heisman, because he is an electrifying QB that can beat you with his arm or legs. Mark it down.
Cheezedik wins coach of the year after leading the Tigers to a 55-0 blowout over SoCal in the NC game.
Book it.

Wow. It looks like all the bammers are looking at LSU to put down UF in the regular season.

I hope we don't disappoint them.

Bama's offense will be similar to last year....

Its not like JPW lit the world on fire with 300 yard games...

If Bama's new QB throws 10 touchdowns he will be an improvement, I dont think many fans realize this. JPW did not win games for Bama, they coulda had a trained monkey to take a snap and hand the ball off.

Not just the loss of JPW, but the O-line.

Fact is Bama won multiple close games last year like Ole Miss, UK, Tulane, LSU...

They are not good enough yet to beat people just by being far more talented like UF. That is why I think the inexperience costs them several games that experience helped win last year.

If Bama's Oline can gel, we could be 8-0 going into Lsu with an off week ahead of it. Meanwhile, yall have Ga and UF before then. We might could lock it up before then again, or seal it on Nov 7th.

That is a good point about the LSU game. Forgot about the open date.

I may change my pick to Bama beating LSU and winning the West depending on how their season goes up to that point.

The VT game is going to be a big game to set the tone early.

Offensive line is probably one of the easier positions to fix and gel. Majority of these kids have played together for a couple years, they have spring practice, and a couple games under their belt before the meat of SEC competition.

LSU lost 2 offensive lineman but I do not see people talking about our offensive line. Especially since 2 guys we lost were 3 year starters and one was a Center which is a QB for the offensive line, as he makes the adjustments.
We just didnt lose a 1st round draft pick which is the difference in some people's mind.

Not really.

Clemson 34-10
Tulane 20-6
Western Ky 41-7
Arkansas 49-14
Georgia 41-30
Kentucky 17-14 (close one)
Ole Miss 24-20 (sorta close at end)
Tennessee 29-9
Arky St 35-0
Lsu 27-21 (close one)
Miss St 32-7
Auburn 36-0

We only trailed in one of those games. Never tied or was led in any others.

That's the difference between last year and this year. Last year the Tide won close games because of a veteran QB, OL, and RB.

This year the Tide will lose close games due to an inexperienced QB, OL, and RB.

The 4 I named were close (4 points, 3 points, overtime). The Tulane game, bama was beat in every statistical category and if I remember correctly were saved by a couple of big plays including a punt return for a td.

Tulane was never in question though, we held a good lead and they weren't scoring. Ole Miss was way down and made it close at the end, but that wasn't too much in question either. Lsu, yeah.. that was a close one.
