I disagree. When you can shoot 3's and go on explosive runs like Alabama can you always have a chance. It is a small chance but they have a punchers chance.

I think you’ve got it right, except for the fact that the vols suck in football, and never sniff the final 4 in hoopeyshoot. Basically auburn without the cult stuff.

You might want to check that. With the exception of the 1950's and 80's,, Alabama has won at least one NC every decade since the 1920's (with some decades winning multiple titles)
Alabama has won an SEC title every decade since the SEC started, most times multiple titles.
If President Thomas had not been such an idiot, Alabama would have had Coach Bobby Bowden starting in 1987
It is more likely Alabama will dominate again in just a few years, so unless you die in the next 10 then you will see Alabama dominate again.
