Definitely possible.

LSU will likely have to beat a pissed off UGA in Atl in a rematch though. But LSU wont have to play Bama right before that potential rematch so they will probably fair better than AU did last year if it happens.

LSU actually matches up well with Bama, and may be the only team in the country that can honestly say that. This LSU team isn't as good as Bama, nobody is. However the best team doesn't always win, and this LSU team was constructed to win games like this one.

Not saying LSU will win, although it wouldn't shock me if they do. That said, I will be shocked if LSU fails to cover if the spread is anywhere close to my expectation (11-15).

Kentucky and Florida both match up with LSU better than Georgia does. It would be a tough game no matter which of the three makes it. It's probably a moot point but when LSU plays like they did yesterday they can hang with anyone.

I don’t think LSU could win out and win SEC title game. But that would guarantee both LSU and BAMA in the playoffs.
You are retarded if you think BAMA wouldn’t be in after destroying everyone except the new number 1 team on the road

I never said anything of the sort.

How can this be? Last week we were told that it was Bama, Georgia and then everyone else.

Not....only one SEC going to the Show this year. UGA,LSU,or Bama. Too be continued. Yesterday was a freebie for UGA. The Dawgs have no more free tokens but they can still win the SEC and then they're in the playoffs.

Is that what they call it when both your lines get dominated?

So you dominated both lines but barely won at home? How fricking horrible are the rest of your players if your lines are that dominant?

not going to happen. LSU is fool's gold

Maybe, but maybe Bama is fools gold because you haven’t played a team with a pulse.

Our QB play is pretty poor. I guess you forgot that gift of a pick in the end zone by Feleipe. Barely won? Lol. Ok.

I can’t see how anyone can justify not having LSU as #1 right now (THREE top 10 wins),

Really? What were they?

Surely you're not suggesting that LSU get credit for a "top 10 win" because they barely beat a shitty Auburn team that was way overrated, and a shitty-to mediocre Miami.

No one but Bama fans wanted to give Bama credit for a "top 10 win over FSU, even though if Francois doesn't get injured, they obviously would have had a much better year.

So you don't think Auburn and Miami were overrated.

Don’t mean to single out 1bigTigerFan, but I wish our fans, in general, would stop this kind of passive - aggressive whining.

... “the media doesn’t love us enough”..... “our wins are minimized” ....

It’s embarrassing.

I’m not trying to be mean here, but LSU lost less than 10 days ago

LSU wins out as SEC champs. Bama gets in at #3 with 1 loss. Book it.

Sorry. That isn't happening this year. Undefeated Clemson. Undefeated OSU. One loss ND and the SEC champ. THat's your tournament.

I’d be surprised if either was even ranked anymore.

Much more likely that LSU goes undefeated the rest of the way than either one of those two.

LSU beats Bama then loses to UGA in championship game. UGA beats LSU but Bama gets the slot for the playoffs. Georgia and LSU both get screwed.

I doubt we make the playoff. I certainly think we could make a case for it but the cards are stacked against us. Still, considering the preseason expectations this season has been a lot of fun and theres reason to be excited about next year. For right now, I'm just enjoying creating chaos in the rankings and giving a middle finger to all of the talking heads
