Typical bammer, we lost but we are still the better team.

I don't know anything about crying fans and refs. What I do know was the final timeout and final play by Alabama should be enough to make the team and Grant this weeks "look and laugh" joke. That was pathetic and something you'd expect to see on a junior high school level.
I agree. He had his best driver of the basketball, clearly moving down the lane with a great opportunity to score, get fouled...or both, so he calls a quick TO to set up your 5'10" point guard out around midcourt with the ball and 6 seconds left... ...sounds good to me.

Logged out last night, what's going on in this thread...more complaining about the refs...that seems 'bout right.

SC had more PF called against them last night than Bama did....

I didn't watch the 2nd half because I had an early appointment to make this morning so I went to bed.

1st half was called pretty fairly. I thought there were a couple of bad calls on both sides, but the refs were calling the game very tight. I assume that continued into the 2nd half.

Didn't see the final play either, but not having Tarrant was huge. Did we immediately inbound to Coleman, or did we look for Randolph first? My guess is the play was designed to go to Randolph on the inbound pass, but USCe took that option away.

Because the SEC basketball refs didn't graduate from Alabama. Not all refs can win games for you

Anyone bashing Grant about the last play is an idiot... It was possibly going to be the play where Coleman (usually) beats his man off the dribble and passes to a cutter like the play before the end of the half in the UT game... Thinking that the play was to stand around for a desperation 3 is what the Grant haters want to believe... Coleman got matched up against a much bigger defender and couldn't get around him and had to get the ball to Randolph in desperation kudos to the defensive set USCe ran.

A struggling true freshman should not have been the point man for that play. That was a miserable call by Grant.

This is a 180 from your power rankings the other day. I thought the results on the court matter not the "perceived" strength of the team?
