16 hits, and we're losing by 4.

way to capitalize bama. wouldn't be surprised to see ya'll sweep. definitely expect ya'll to get at least one more.

We have a real problem with losing games against inferior competition under Pawlowski. And I don't like it.

Sadly, I agree.

there is a problem with that. we don't play much inferior competition. This team has been fortunate and played way over their heads for the first three SEC series.

Let's see, mid-week losses all year long last season kept us out of a regional, we've already lost a mid-week game this year to Samford, and now we've lost to a 1-8 SEC team. Not to mention a series loss to an AWFUL Tennessee team last year that nearly cost us a trip to the SEC tourney.
Yes, it's a problem.

Ole Miss lost to the same team. EVERYBODY loses midweek games. While that was a problem last year, it has been much better this year. People expecting much out of this team are going to be disappointed. The pitchers have done pretty well outside of tonight, and I expect we will make a regional this year. That's pretty damn good for a team picked to finish last in the west.

This is true. But we should be further along as a program considering this is Pawlowski's fourth year. I just want us to win games we're supposed to win.

Good game gumps. Pitching really let us down tonight. 16 hits and 6 runs should normally be the recipe for a W with this pitching staff. Way too many runners left on base. Bama capitalized at the right times. Hopefully we can take the next two.
And frick that first base ump. Quit letting your fricking emotion dictate the call. Surprised he didn't signal the runner out halfway down the line. fricking tool.
And now I'm going to pass out. Peace frickers.

Seriously, is Auburn going to beat Alabama in ANYTHING besides swimming and diving this year????
Alabama has essentially blown the doors off of Auburn in everything this year but women's basketball, swimming, and track and field. This is on pace to be one of the most dominant years an instate rival has had over the other in all sports in many a year.

Baseball is even at one. Two games to go to save some dignity.

90% of your posts are flaming Auburn, and LSU just got blanked in baseball, yet you are hanging on an AU/UA score. I'd be careful, you're starting to give yourself up for the altar you are.

Good point, but if you drop a series to the worst Alabama baseball team in at least 20 years even if it results in a 2-2 record this year you have to consider it a complete failure given how pathetic this Bama team is. Blown out in football, blown out on men's basketball, and lose the series in baseball while ranking behind Alabama YET AGAIN in the U.S. News and World Report academic rankings is being totally dominated by the CAPSTONE of public education in Alabama.

I still feel good about the series. Cut down on walks and we'll be fine. Kendall will put us back on track tomorrow.
And I don't see how you can expect us to get swept.. has this team not proven anything to you this year? We've fought our asses off every damn series and I expect to see them do the same tomorrow and the rest of this series.
