I played CFB in the mid-70's. We didn't throat slash people. We didn't really trash talk that much. If you get caught doing a throat slash now they flag you. If we had gotten caught doing a throat slash when I played, someone would have knocked you the frick out.

- Guy is laying out cold on the ground.
- Opposing team player is standing over him.
- Ref 1: What happened?
- Ref 2: Throat-slash guy just got knocked out.
- Ref 1: Serves him right. Bet he doesn't do it again.

And one more thing, I hire a lot of people and research them on the internet and social media. Seeing you with a handful of your junk would be an automatic disqualification.

There were more of us Bama fans who disliked and were appalled by that than the rednecks who liked it. Him doing that actually brought me out of my chair and made me say a curse word.

You would grab your 'member' and mouth words in front of the young fans who would look up to you, knowing it's gonna be filmed, and you would be okay with that?

At 22 years of age, looking back and seeing how many poor decisions I made, I can’t say without a doubt I wouldn’t have grabbed my sack. I’m still pretty quick to tell someone to GFY if they frick with me. Now, the fact he did it on national television was undoubtedly a poor decision and he deserved punishment for it, which I believe was meted out by Lincoln Riley. But all of you acting like that one instance is a life defining moment need to get over yourself. Baker is immature and doesn’t always exercise the best judgment. He definitely has some growing up to do but it’s not like the guy robbed a bank.

Fair enough. I'll give you a second chance then. My secretary will contact you for another interview.

I turned out pretty well and I haven’t seen anything Baker has done that I didn’t do, or would have done, if given the opportunity.

So....basically you are saying you have never done it.

I have no doubt Baker Mayfield is one heck of a QB, and team leader, but my original point was actually not one announcer said a thing about it during the game or after the game, but they showed him as this new choir boy. Some of his antics include; yelling at Ohio State coach on the sideline after a scramble run in the 4th quarter(look it up, on video), pre-game Baylor( enough on video to make your own assumptions)pre-game TCU, hitting a player in the head with a football thrown from about 15 yards away( picture longest yard but a head shot) Kansas Crotch grab, and that is just this year.

I could care less about Baker, just wanted to know if anyone else realized the network never said a work about it after their Baker Mayfield montage.
