FWIW, no one around the team has said anything like that.

That said, UGA should just avoid playing in Knoxville ever again. Maybe we can switch the divisions around or something.

Looked like a Marcus Lattimore type of injury. He never was the same after it.

I know a lot of people said the same thing when Delvin Breaux hurt his neck, but look where he is now.

Man, that is awful. Not to make this about Fournette or anything, but I worry about him with the amount of carries he gets.

The carries don't worry me as much as him refusing to go down when gang tackled does. I love the intensity, but sometimes you just have to submit easily to avoid an unnecessary injury

Nope, and Willis Mcgahee never had the same type of explosion that he had pre injury. He was still a decent back but man he was so good in college before the injury. I don't know that Chubb will ever be the same or not but he does work hard and keep his self in great shape so I wouldn't count him out. I don't expect him to ever be the same player though.

I think the worst case scenario for Chubb is he can't cut the same, and becomes a Pro-Bowl safety or Dee Ford-esque pass rusher.

Hopefully he had one of those insurance policies.

can you get one before you are on borrowed time at the school? Like playing an extra year after you could be drafted.

No one, including the doctors or surgeons could possibly know at this point. Every person is different as is every injury. His future is certainly in dire straits

PCL but saved his ACL. I don't know how bad a PCL injury is?

PCL/MCL tear pretty much ended my rugby career.

I'm certainly not an elite athlete, but I tried to come back and every time I would play my knee would swell and stiffen up.

I am a huge fan of Chubb and I hope that he comes back very strong. I hope and pray this is a BS report.

Chalk another one up to the knee choppers .... poor Chubb joins a growing list of those who have suffered the same.

It's a shame. Chubb was a player. I hope he is taken care of ... God Bless him. I'm sure Marcus Lattimore has reached out to him by now.

Neither Chubb, nor Lattimore went down because of a dirty hit. Coming by your trailer later to throw a brick at you, motherfricker.

There is 0% chance it is career ending.

That is different than saying he may never be quite as explosive, however.

Willis McGahee had a worse injury and still came back, lets not forget.

You are wrong.

Isolated PCL can sometimes do ok even without surgery. It's the "couple other ligaments" part of his injury that is concerning.

And the unnamed NFL doctor doesn't know shite, he's just speculating like the rest of us.
