ESPN has a strong preference for games on their own networks and tend to only go to CBS games if there's no other viable option.

OU is certainly promoting the hell out of it. They wrote an article about stealing away our walk-on long snapper (they offered him a schollie - we didn't have any left to give) at the last minute. You would've thought they'd stolen away Jalen Hurd or Josh Malone.
ETA: That said, UT doesn't have much history with B12 at all. I don't think they hate us the way they do the teams they've played more. We have more history with UCLA and ND than B12 schools.

Did not know. Good for him. Week 3 matchup will be a good chance for him to even out that record a bit. At least he will have a QB that doesn't have nightmares about it this time, or so you'd hope.
