I'm starting to think this is a myth, much like the cowboys have talent. There are a few guys that could play anywhere but all in all the talent level is mediocre. You've bought too much into rivals.com and not enough into what you're witnessing when they suit up

Can't blame him. The mature, upstanding head coach of his team hasn't said the words "Ole Miss" since he was hired. This guy's never heard it before.

Recruiting rankings or not, the guys we've brought have had the talent and ability to make a big impact at the college level. Once they get to college, it's up to the coaches to help the players reach that full ability and potential. And that hasn't come close to happening. Blake, Lemonier, Lutzenkirchen and McCalebb are the only players I can think of that we've developed since Chiz has been here. One every four years. We've got A LOT more talent than that.

So yes, I think the sheer talent is there. The coaching, outside of Boulware and Grimes, is downright pitiful.

Ole Miss will probably lose simply due to the logo that resides on the side of Auburn's helmet. When those players for Auburn run out into the Vaught and the cheerleaders run with the flags that have the Auburn logo, it will get into UM's head. It's the way it is for both State and Ole Miss. How many times did LSU beat State back in the 90's with their terrible teams when State was competitive, or when Ole Miss went into Bryant Denny in 2000 with a much better team yet still walked out with a loss? Right now, Ole Miss should beat Auburn 30-14, but they'll choke and lose a nail-biter on Saturday, simply because of Auburn's history and the subconcious thought within the minds of UM players and coaches that Auburn is still better than Ole Miss.

Well we've only got a slightly better winning percentage over you guys, and if just talking numbers we've beaten you guys a lot more often...and we all saw how that turned out.

Starting to think state fans are the only ones that think auburn can win, and the only ones blind to the fact of how bad auburn turely is.

I sure would love to know why Grimes get a pass from most AU fans. The Olines last year and this year were awful. Who cant coach 4 seniors with over 130 starts? Remeber Grimes picked AJ Greene over Brandon Mosley to be a starter in 2010. Plus he recruits a lot of bust on the OL.

Probably a loss. Glad it's a morning kickoff so I can go ahead and get the pain and misery out early. Still hoping we somehow win but that'll take nothing short of a miracle.

Auburn is not going to beat Ole Miss just by showing up and tossing a jersey on the field, especially after a loss to frickin Arkansas... they may laugh at you. That team has made significant headway in their last two games as they familiarize themselves with the systems. When you have new systems the most improvement is not between game 1 and game 2 but somewhere around game 5 and game 6.
