Sorry, but I call it like I see it. No orange and blue glasses. Did you happen to notice how many good players in the secondary left in the off season? That's just my theory but I think it's a good one. Bama can get away with telling recruits to be patient...they don't HAVE TO sell playing time. Whereas, that's how we got Roc Thomas, Jeremy Johnson, several 5* OL's, Duke, etc... if you follow recruiting and read any of the articles, you hear recruits favoring Auburn talk about what? Family and playing time. If they are favoring Bama they talk most about what? Business decisions, NFL, and tradition.

Yeah, we are in the same state in the same conference, but we sell a different basket of goods. So what? Tell me I'm wrong. (I'm not). And I sure as hell am an Auburn fan. But I signed up for this site to talk to other SEC fans and I figured this probably isn't the place to run around flying my homer freak flag, claiming that AU's going to win the national championship every year.So yeah, I tell it like it is. But I bleed orange and blue.

Oh another I tell it like it is, and I am not a O&B Kool aid drinker.

Do you really think all of those players left over playing time? If you do then you are not telling it like it is. But keep on being real my man.

I'd bet a month's salary that you have more crimson shirts in your closet than Orange & Blue shirts.

I've seen him sucking off Georgia and Texas A&M too. We get one of these guys every year that start off trying to earn some cred by handing out hand jobs on tRant

Huge loss.

Guess he realized Auburn was going to finish at the bottom of the Division, even behind Arky.........if you can believe that ish.

No I didn't. Enlighten me.

You just don't have that mass exodus of Bama players when they aren't starters by their sophomore year.
You're right. Altee Tennpenny, Dee Hart, Dee Liner, Alvin Kamara, Philip Sims, Parker Mcloud, Marvin Shinn, etc. stuck it out in the Capstone, huh?

In all honestly, I think one of Auburn's selling points over Alabama is playing time. It's like Alabama players go into it knowing that it may be a long-arse time before they see the field. AU players seem less prepared for this as evidenced by all of these departures from 2nd and 3rd string players. You just don't have that mass exodus of Bama players when they aren't starters by their sophomore year.

what a pile of BS... Auburn and Alabama sell opportunity!!! Playing time is important to all players an looking at the depth chart is important. But noway did Burton come to Auburn expecting to play quickly. He was NOT heavily recruited, we beat Minnesota (Brian Anderson was his recruiter) and Vandy for him. If he had wanted early playing time, he would have gone to one of those schools. Your logic is faulty at best.

Well maybe not. He definitely got let down having a great Spring though. And the other poster makes a good point about Bama RB's. So frick, maybe I'm off the mark.

But I'm no Bammer. You take that shite back.

Look, other than the occasional comment on al.com, I've never talked to other SEC fans on a message board. I figured I would go about it like I would sitting at a bar. At a bar, I would not tell someone to kill themselves , for instance... I would also try to find some common ground and generally try not to be a douche bag . Go figure, trying to be amicable gets me attacked by my own.

Dang, son, I appreciate your interest in AU football. I couldn't name any starter on Arky's team, with the exception of Brandon Allan or Alex Collins. You must really keep up with all things AU, just like Bert.

I did not call you a Bammer, so can not take it back... Remember when posting, one poster does not represent all of the other posters on this board. We each have independent thought.
