So, next time you try to make the argument you had a tougher schedule just remember this post and STFU.

You played 5 top 15 teams on the road?

I will grant you one thing you have to play Auburn while we get to play alabama.

It's splitting hairs in my opinion. Whoever wins the SEC will have earned it.

The pre-season schedule bitching cracks me up though. Nobody knows how teams will perform when they actually start playing games. Ask Spurrier? He'll back me up on that.

Bama schedule thread!

The funny thing is that Mississippi has been hanging the hat and high rankings on basically one win: Alabama

But what if Alabama is down this year? We wouldn't know it at this point of the season because they really haven't played the best in the West yet.

Look at the common opponents so far for LSU, Mississippi and Alabama:

Alabama - Mississippi, L
LSU - Mississippi W, State L, Auburn L
Mississippi - LSU L, Auburn L.

SEC teams Bama has beaten are a combined 6-15 in league play. Mississippi's wins have come against teams that are 7-13, while LSU's wins have come against teams that are a combined 9-9.

The two teams that have beaten LSU, Bama has yet to play, and Mississippi has already lost to one, with the other at the end of the regular season.

Why shouldn't the relative rankings between these three teams be:

LSU
Mississippi
Alabama?

The only reason Mississippi is ranked above LSU is that they beat Alabama. The only reason Alabama is ranked above LSU is that they haven't gotten to the meat of their schedule. The problem is that even if Alabama ends up with 4 losses on the season, Mississippi will still get the ranking bump for having beaten them early in the season. Alabama still hasn't beaten anyone, and even if they win at LSU this weekend, they still won't have played the division leaders yet.

SEC W = same
Not when you consider home v. Away.

OOC- You play KSt we play WVU with about the same result and they are about the same
The key difference is we played on the road and you played neutral site.

SEC East. AU plays USC and UGA, Bama played UT and UF which beat USC and UGA. Bama's SEC East is tougher.
Despite their stumbles, UGA is still the toughest out in the East and, again, we are on the road.

That's why Bama is 12 in my poll and yeah I do have LSU 10, Ole Miss 11

I still think USC & UGA are the better teams....UT & UF may have won those games but if they played 10 times I bet UGA & USC each win 7/10. Especially UGA..... I could see USC & UT splitting.

Point is..... The point your trying to make is weak.

The point is that AU's schedule is not any harder than every other SEC W team's schedule. That's pretty clear now.

It's going to become real clear very soon. We won't learn a lot Saturday when Bama smashes LSU but after we beat MSU in about 10 days there will be no denying it.

Um K-State could sneak into the playoffs. WVU is not going to sniff it. Good try.

The OP fails to account for difficult road games vs difficult games at home in Bama's case a neutral field. Auburn's schedule is tougher. I would love to have Bama and MSU at home this year, but we didn't. Ce La Vi.

Reason why this post is stupid #43. Just totally ignore where the games are played. You would rather play Georgia on the road than Florida at home? You would rather play Kstate half way across the country than WVU at a "neutral" location in a friendly SEC city? Moo State at home is equal to playing Moo state on the road?

You aren't going to add in the away/home factor? Auburn has state, ole miss and bama all away. Bama's away games are ark, LSU and ole miss? Plus Georgia played bad against Florida but if they played again tomorrow Georgia would still be more likely to win.. They're a better team, Florida just out played them. All in all I think we know who's schedule is tougher.

P.s. Kansas state is a better team than WVU.. Just saying

OK, fine. Give AU slack for playing some of the same opponents on the road. Still the difference is not that much between ANY of the west teams schedules. If UGA or USC were dominant teams then that might mean something for AU but with these losses you can't say that anymore.

You're still valuing @ Kansas State the same as neutral site vs. WVU which is the biggest joke of your post
