We have an entire world class raptor center. Surely there's another eagle trained to fly around the stadium that just hasn't seen gameday action yet.
Tiger, Nova, and Spirit all have (or had) some issue that would have made it nearly impossible to survive on their own in the wild, so the raptor center is able to keep them for educational purposes.

Dollywood, which was huge in reintroducing Bald Eagles to the area, actually has a Bald Eagle named Aubbie. He was rescued by an Auburn Alum in Chattanooga, saved by UT-Knoxville Vet doctors and eventually became an ambassador of sorts for kids with disabilities. Aubbie's problem was he had a crossed beak when he was born which meant he couldn't properly eat and when he was found he was in terrible shape due to it. The Vol Docs at UT that performed the surgeries and nursed Aubbie back to health wanted to pay homage to the hero who'd initially found him but they didn't know the proper spelling of Aubie so he became Aubbie.
Word on the street is that he despises Bama and loves all things orange. ;-)

It's one of the coolest traditions in college football. Shame.

Well its not like it's going to end or even have a hiatus just because the one bird is retiring

I remember when Tiger got to go to Salt Lake City and fly for the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics to represent the golden eagles that the Utes and other tribes held sacred.
We are very lucky to have two well managed raptor centers in the southeast and get to see these birds up close.

I wouldn't invite Jase Robertson to any more home games.
