No. Our first 6 games we gave up an average of 16 points per game. Our last 6 games we gave up 15.1 points per game. Considering we were riddled with injuries on the offensive side towards the end of the year and that our QB was playing with a busted shoulder, I am looking forward to an even better defense this year.

We were good last year. The only place we lost talent was Dline. The replacements looked good in the playing time they got last year.

I have to agree with the auburn guys on this one. You can't really fault their defense later in the year. That offense was just awful, and left their defense hanging out to dry every Saturday. A lot like what happened to us in the title game. 11 straight 3 and outs will eventually get you. Even a defense like Bama's last year.

Auburn fans - How do you guys think that your defense compares to Bama's this coming year?

A lot of the so-called experts are pimping Auburn's defense this year.

Can I get a link to that?

Loosing NFL talent on the Dline is concerning. There is reason for optimism because guys played well who will now see more playing time. I do not know if it will be a top 20 D, but it won't return to the issues of 2011-2015, etc...If it is similar to last year and the O moves in a positive direction Auburn will have a special year.

QB play
Oline play
Dline pass rush...should be any Auburn fans concern in that order.
