Auburn would be stupid to hire a HC before an AD

That is the exact situation that lead to Chad Morris being hired at Arkansas.

Any proven HC will want to know who his boss will be.

As someone who went through Chad Morris experience, I concur.

Hopefully a competent AD will be in place sooner rather than later

Nah, we were just unlucky. The braintrust at Auburn can't mess it up.

A good AD is the most important piece that is often overlooked. Hunter Yurachek is the reigning AD of the year and Arkansas is the only school who’s Big 3 were all top 10

If that’s the path we’re taking, we need to pull the trigger sooner rather than later so we can start the HC search.

I think McGlynn would be a solid choice as an administrator, which is probably more what we need than a fundraiser.

We kinda just showed that the AD isn’t our football coach’s real boss though.
