This is the Auburn mindset in a nutshell.
There's a bar in Auburn called 1716 after "Punt Bama Punt". Auburn's football team meeting room is branded with "BEAT BAMA", and Auburn's baseball hype video ends with "BEAT BAMA."
There is literally nothing more important to "Auburn men and women" than beating Bama. That's why this thread was needed. The only thing you people live for was completely absent this entire year. Kinda sad, actually.
So, while "kick six" and "punt bama punt" and "cam back" keep you cozy at night, I'll be thinking about those multiple national championships. And when Auburn fans feel the need to act like they're important - we'll continue to remind them why they're not and never will be.
I can understand those games being so important to you, though. If my team had not scored a single point on offense and gotten beaten by an average of 37+ points in 3 of the last 7 meetings, I'd be searching for the silver lining, too - however rare and insignificant they may be.
