Until LSU wins and the narrative changes to Georgia. Then if LSU wins that one, it will be "well they lost to Clemson and their D is shite, so they still haven't really played anyone".

Auburn has a stud 5 star recruit waiting in the wings.

Kiehl Frazier. Dude is legendary.

Auburn is so loaded their backup QBs play defense in their spare time.

TCU > or = Auburn

And anyone who watched the TCU game knows that game wasn't even as close as the score showed

Possibly they definitely have talent, but I'm just not sure they have quite gotten it all together yet.

Serious question:
Did Mett and Marshall play at UGA together?

Think Mett was gone when NM was a freshman.

The gap in individual talent level was enormous, it was so obvious and jumped off the screen at you. Yet TCU stayed in that game until the 4th. Its really just another case of Les Miles coaching down to his opponents level. Yet he escaped with a win just like he did with auburn last year, miss st the year before, and Tenn the year before that.

One of those is not like the other. LSU did not escape with a win against TCU.

It's almost like Auburn fans are trying to convince themselves that Auburn is a good team with these threads. Blind homer delusion i suppose

It was more of penalties, the blue fumble, special teams blunders. Just first game jitters I feel like, but thats my opinion.

At what point was LSU in danger of losing?

If you really think this, it's clear you just looked at the box score once the game was over.

Agreed, MSU is a shite sammich of a program, and always will be. Not worth mentioning in a thread like this imo.

That sort of depends.

If LSU/UGA goes into a shootout, then LSU should expect to take as good as it has given. If they slow down the UGA offense, then props are in order.

Both of these scores are 3 point wins, but tell very different tales in regards to an LSU/UGA match-up:

20-17
38-35
