We need to upgrade the scoreboards in the endzones.

I actually like the screen layout at BD a bunch, only one that's better is Moo States monsters at both ends.

LSU's setup is just fine. IIRC, the corner screens are bigger than the ones at BDS...two HD 40' x 68' corner screens in the south...along with the updated HD 28' x 80' main video screen above the north end zone.

You know what they say, "TVs get TDs".

Wait no they don't.

I hope enough teams complain about the scoreboard that they have to take it down.

Bama really has the best setup of the SEC. 4 HD in the corners.

It goes with the whole symmetrical aesthetic of BDS.

From a visiting fan's viewpoint, it's not ideal.

Actually it is more ideal. The big video boards in other stadiums are at the top of the stadium and in one end...most people are at awkward angles. Turn around look up...turn left, right look up or down. You can get a crick in your neck with all the awkward angles.

Bama's are all eye-level and you're always close to a video board.

Very ideal.

BDS has the worst visitor's seats in the SEC, and it's not close...

If you are at the arse end of an end zone upper deck, it's not possible to be farther away from the video board than you are...

Now if you were in a Tiger Stadium upper deck visitor's seat...

You'd not only be closer to the field, but you'd have larger screens to view.

Just the facts.

Congrats on finding a pic that makes the screens look further away than they actually are. I also sit in the upper deck and I have no problem seeing 3 of the 4.

That seating arrangement looks to be pretty ideal for you...very advantageous for launching piss balloons.

I've stayed out of your stadium temper tantrums that you've been having on this board for a year now.

You really don't want to get into that with me. You can with other people, but not me. It wouldn't be fair to you.

Now to your awful point. Bama's upperdecks are closer to the field than most stadium's lower bowls.
i.e. BDS's lower bowl is smaller with a 60,000 capacity, Tiger Stadium's bowl is 68,000. I remember Gary Danielson saying in a broadcast last year that Bama's stadium feels like you're on top of the field and near everything even up in the pressbox.

Bama's upperdecks are rounded and angled. Tiger Stadium is a steep, uphill mess. So even the far corners of BDS upper decks the views are better than any in that dingy, architectural hodge-podge, dirty, industrial building-looking mess that is Tiger Stadium.

Not really. They aren't that steep. You want steep...you should have been in Tiger Stadium's old west upper. Now that was steep. But I stay away from the architectural my stadium looks better than your stadium arguments too.
