Meh, it was mutual. Neither team wanted to resume the series if your remember but were forced to by the State.

Auburn had owned Alabama prior to the breakup (7-4-1).

Wrong. It represents 1 year of football

You know it's a good time to be an Alabama fan when the worst thing an Auburn fan can say is, "Remember that season when you didn't win the title? That was fun."
whats even better is the fact that even in Alabama's greatest run in school history, they couldnt keep Auburn from winning a National Championship and the SEC Championship twice. Add in TWO IB victories that will be seared into bama fan's minds for the rest of their lives.

So much it was 3-1-1 the previous five years, before the series was cancelled, in Alabama's favor. But who's splitting hairs?

I'll give you what ever dream scenario you with whatever play you can come up with but I'll take 4 out of 7 national championships over winning 2 iron bowls. GTFO.

Your lone national championship in the last half century is sandwiched between two Alabama National Championships in the middle of the greatest dynasty in college football history. I can assure you, other than Cam Newton, that title doesn't bother us a bit.

We've won multiple championships since either of those have occurred. Another talking point that Auburn fans use to make themselves feel better for the shite show, but one that Alabama fans generally don't spend time losing sleep over.

Colleges are trying all sorts of things to stand out nowadays. The cartoonish quality isn't really all that weird in the current climate. I've seen worse. I've seen worse posted here on the Rant, in fact.

They might want to get rid of the Kick 6 one, though. It's not exactly a good look to base your recruiting on calling attention to the fact you consider the other team so prestigious that your recruiting pitch is based on having beaten them on a crazy play with no time on the clock. It just says a lot more about you, and about them, than you intended.

Sitting right next to Alabama's 2014 NC ring

AJ McCarron has more rings than Auburn University.

Hope this helped.

Funniest part about that card is whoever made it gave up on the sky You can see at what point they were just like, "frick it."

He's an LSU fan he was getting us confused with his shitty team instead of Bama. He can't get over 2011 just like Auburn fans can't get over the fact that Bama won 3 national championships since their last one. Sad really.

That's the only thing we send out to recruits? Seriously, inquiring minds would like to know.

You can make fun of Auburn's recruiting flyers all you want...but they sure does seem to work. Also, I'm pretty sure the flyers of Kick 6 aren't iconic just because it was against Alabama... That could have happened in any rivalry game and still been a huge deal. I mean if your program had recently made what is considered the greatest play In CFB history, wouldn't you send that to recruits?
