That's awful. Cancer in the late teens early twenties... frick that. It's bad enough when people get it later in life, but frick turning some kid's world on it's head. Glad to hear they say he's got a good chance at battling it.

Based on a thread started last night, they've got two players in that situation.

Really sucks.

Why does this only happen to Auburn?

Absolutely horrible though. Hope he gets back to health soon and kicks arse on the football field.

Anytime I hear of an athlete getting cancer or some other life threatening disease, they almost instantly become one of my favorite players to root for. In this guys case, he's also got a crazy name to boot so he's even more likeable.

Hoping this kid battles it out a wrecks shop when he gets back.

Cancer sucks. Thought and prayers, hopefully the recovery is as quick as possible and he can get back to football.

Does it mean "Damn good" or something? You know, like "bodacious" means "excellent?"

If so, it is "Damn Good" Hamm

Brodarius Hamm

That's an all-time name right there. Glad the prognosis is good, hope he beats it 100% and fast.
