We were a shitty program before and now people are pissed because we're not keeping the shitty program fully intact?

No one is disagreeing with your point, its just the timing of it. I'm sure had many options to deal with this, and took a "look at me" approach.

i'm not say he should've been kicked off the team for it (for the argument after the game, maybe), but sh*t like this is why we've sucked for the last two years... we've consistently sucked at baseball fundamentals. Any idiot who lets a leadoff single in the 10th get behind him and turn into a game winning tripe should be ashamed... and the dude's a senior...

he was probably kicked off for more than that one play, if i had to guess... this incident, and the related argument, was final straw, i guess.
again, we were the worst fundamental baseball team under our last coach... even when we were winning... sh*t like that drives fans crazy.

Exactly.
You don't gain anything by waiting to cut out cancers. Apparently, these 3 were considered cancers working against what Galloway was trying to accomplish. MSU is all-too-familiar with that when we transitioned in baseball. In hindsight, I wish we had cut them out midseason instead of enduring 2 full terrible seasons with them. And we cut the hell out of some players in the offseason those first 2 years. But it wasn't enough...

We havent been a shitty program. We just havent been a particularly good program. I dont have a problem kicking kids off the team. I have a problem the way he is doing it. Its hard to respect someone who gets mad at his players when he should have pulled his pitcher who had been getting hit on for the last 3 innings. I am even more pissed that he didnt take full responsibility for the loss.

I'm just disappointed that Bobo and his team aren't coming to Olsen this year. I have nothing against Auburn, but Bobo is, and always will be, a jackass. I was stunned when Auburn hired him. I thought he was going to be fired at OU, eventually.

Yep. Now whether he's trying to do too much too fast, whether the guys were actually problems, etc. is a judgment call, but we know whatever was happening previously wasn't working.
I'm not sold that Golloway is the revolutionary he thinks he is, although he's obviously a very competent and accomplished coach. But nonetheless, we hired him to overhaul the program, and he seems to be doing it. We should at least wait to see how it plays out before condemning the method.

We've been a shitty program by our standards.
Also, he didn't kick a senior off the team for on the field stuff, he did it because he wasn't buying in.
