Auburn picks up committment

This puzzles me. A couple lame commitments in a row. Camps aren't everything. What they do in games matters as well.

Tubs didn't care what the scouting services said he didn't offer many unless they saw them and prefered to get them in a camp first.

The kid was really impressive at camp the staff felt he was a rising star and pulled the trigger on him.

That's why he got fired. Last year y'all had a really good class, but this one looks terrible. No offense, but Ole Miss is kicking your a$$

Are people seriously hating on this kid before his senior year? I like to see stars next to the kids name and all but its not everything. Darren Bates was a two star and there are many other succuesful players that are highly rated.

Tubs still had very good recruiting classes the problem was many of the guys never made it in due to academics and various other reasons.

Tubs was among the best talent scouts out there, he has a known reputation for taking 3 star players and have them play with all of the 5 star talent other teams bring in.

Chizik and staff watched this recruit heavily before ever making an offer. Some of the guys who follow Auburn recruiting will tell you that chizik is the pickiest coach they've seen when it comes to cornerbacks and safeties.

Chiz saw what he could do at the camp and offered him on the spot. Chiz knows DB's.

We're in a heated recruiting battle with Texas Tech for one right now.

Our class looked awful this time last year as well. I'm willing to invest time.

So am I, things will end up getting better when we get Rose and possibly Roberson in the next few weeks.

No depth and a dinged up defensive line that couldn't get pressure, any QB will look like an all star then. A perfectly thrown pass is impossible to defend and given enough time a receiver will get open. With Washington moving to corner again and Savage coming in in our nickel packages next year our secondary will be very strong.

They only threw the ball seventy times. We also had five interceptions and won the game. So, your point?

He offered Asante Samuel the same way..
