Think you are wrong about Auburn sidewalk fans. You can't swing a dead cat in north Alabama without hitting some clown in a Auburn shirt they just picked up at Walmart. The majority of them can't even tell you how to get there, and a majority of them think it is in West Georgia.....haha....hey, but it's all good, they "fambly"

In all seriousness, typically the graduates of any University will be a bit classier than the non-graduates. I would imagine that with the exception of Vanderbilt, Auburn has the smallest percentage of sidewalk fans of any SEC program.
For folks who reside in the state of Alabama but did not attend either Auburn or Alabama, how do they split in terms of allegiance? I would bet 90/10 towards Alabama.
37% Bama fans. 18% au fans. Plurality have no allegiance to either or are fans of both schools. and Alabama more or less has about the same number of sidewalk fans as any other SEC school

I have to say, in all honesty, that I've rarely run into issues with Auburn fans at their place. A couple of drunks one time - but we all have those. I've sat smack in the middle of Auburn fans, eight rows up behind the Auburn bench on the 50 yard line with some Auburn donor friends of mine and my wife and I were the only Gamecock fans within sight in that section and I was having a ton of fun raising hell and taunting ... and the Auburn fans were just as fun all around us. The Cam vs Garcia game ... back and forth, but the Auburn fans were great.'
I've been to that stadium four times, been to two baseball series there and one basketball game and never a problem, not ever.
