i think i prefer the smaller one but the difference is really subtle.

Funny, I noticed it right away. The logo size relative to the helmet reminds me of old AU helmets from back when Pat Sullivan was QB. Was it that big back then? I'm just going off of memory of pictures.

It's just the fact that you (probably) grew up an Alabama fan. Which would (probably) mean that your parents/grandparents were die hard Bama fans. Which (probably) means they had you convinced that Auburn was the scum of the Earth from a very early age.
