GUS is Chad's mentor. Chad sought out GUS's mentoring because of GUS's book on the HUNH offensive philosophy that GUS pioneered. Chad formed his offensive around GUS's system with advice from GUS himself. Chad Morris is consistently referred to a GUS's protege in the media.

chad is at SMU now, nothing to do with Clemson and if you wtch Clemson play, we weren't running a run based offense. so doesn't have anyhng to do with Gus. We also have not had Gus's good luck lol

I don't care where Chad is at now. He was brought up to point at that even in the modern era Clemson still wants to be like Auburn. AU hires GUS Malzahn, wins a National Championship with him, Clemson turns around and hires a GUS fanboy that offseason.

ok well I would argue Chad was biggest reason Clemson didn't do more with Boyd and numerous NFL WR and a NFL RB in Ellington. Soif it was abut being like Auburn, it blew up in our face. Auburn's tile was about CAM, not the offense. lol

Congrats on beating a 3-9 team by one score. Every SEC team we played in 2012 beat us too.
everybody knows Clemson isn't short cash when it comes to the recruiting budget. Your one and only MNC was bought with cars, TVs, and straight up cash in large amounts. If Clemson really wants to copy Auburn's succes you need to copy our latest trick and figure out how to not get caught.

lol yeah we bought our national championships, so many flashy players on the offense of that team, given they won games like 6-3 all season.
but thanks for reminding young people on here Clemson won national title. that is good exposure for us. :)
