Auburn students subsidize AU athletics at a shocking rate compared to other schools.

How do they calculate that? Student ticket fees?
I saw it posted recently on Sportico for 2023.

Does that include rec sports/facilities? Mizzou rec is outrageous.

I'm cool with that. Probably why Auburn grads make more than Alabama grads.

No, it’s because Auburn households have two male incomes.

If only more Asians lived in Alabama. Auburn has always been a WASP school. That’s why daddies think it’s safe to send their daughters there.

I don't know if rec sports or campus rec facilities on campuses fall under the management and operations of the Athletic Department or not?

You realize how dumb this thread is yet?

They're coming, in droves. The auto manufacturing industry in the state brings in more Asians than this state has ever seen. IMO it's a great thing. They bring an unprecedented work ethic and they're raised to excel in academics from a very early age.

When we’re talking “Asians” here, we’re NOT talking about, say, Kurds, or the Lebanese, right?

I just want to be clear about who is being marginalized.

I'm surprised our Asian population is so low.

Not a lot of Asians want to live in a pasture in buttfrick, West Georgia.

And guess what?

“Auburn University reported the lowest share of freshmen Pell recipients – 11% – than any other public university listed.”

That a good fricking thing.

Maybe you could look at the players who participated in the CFB playoffs last season, and look at the players participating in the Final Four in basketball this month for your answer.

I try to cheer for all of them. Idk. Generally, their skin pigment doesn’t impact my school spirit.
