I'm just glad the old fricker has lived long enough to witnesses the rise of Saban and another golden era of Bama dominance. Guess the Roman Empire hung around for awhile.

Not to mention that literally the exact opposite of everything he predicted in that rant regarding winning the hearts and minds of Alabama children ended up happening. Enrollment at Auburn was slightly ahead of Alabama at the time of that speech. Didn't stay that way for long.

While technically true, in 2007 and 2010 Alabama was not in running for the SECCG by the time we played Auburn.
2013 is literally the only year where you can lay claim to "preventing" Alabama from making the SECCG.
