Auburn basketball week to week is like Auburn football year to year. You have no clue if you're getting greatness or a dumpster fire

So you're saying we've improved? I agree.

Right now, Avery "can't beat" Pearl.

The same way Saban "couldn't beat" Malzahn after one game also

Stay tuned

Let's rehash this little debate after Avery has been in place for a few years like Pearl..

How long do you think Pearl's been here?

That's improvement for AU basketball. We'll get there.

He was making a joke. Under Barbee we were just awful all the time. At least with Pearl we have had good moments.

Admittedly I really only follow closely LSU basketball and then whoever is the big national teams of the year until the tournament starts. I didn't know about all of Auburns injuries and whatnot.

I'll say though that Brown can shoot the lights out. He's pretty dang good.

Definitely improved since Barbee

Personally I think it's gonna be awesome if we have two good ranked tournament-bound teams here in a few years playing the Iron Basket-Bowl.

Yep. Everyone I know has already written this season off. Way too much has happened. Expecting noticeable improvement next year.

Our expected #2 scorer is basically done for the year. Our best defensive guard done. And freshman that we thought would be a do it all type of guy for us been yanked around by NCAA. Another freshman is still recovering from knee injury and Lang is also recovering from injury.

This season is definitely disappointing but a lot of it has been out of Pearl's control. If we can add a solid big man graduate transfer next year's group should be a postseason team. 2017 has a chance to be REALLY good with Davion Mitchell and Austin Wiley
