Malzahn is great at adapting so I think Auburn's passing numbers go up next year to take advantage of Johnson's skills, and their running numbers come down even though they'll still have a lot of talent at RB...

We'll still have a 1000 yard rusher. If we were able to have one in 09 and 11 with not much of a threat of a runner at QB and not nearly as much talent around the QB, we'll be able to do it next year. Johnson's passing will open up the run even more.

Oh, I think you will too...just don't know if you'll have the leading rusher in the SEC, at least as far as yardage goes...

This would actually make me feel better as an Auburn fan, not worse.

A system is more sustainable and reliable than the individual players who come and go through the system.

Yep, it's as if the goal posts have to be moved in order to try and downplay AU. The thread is about leading the SEC, yet NFL stats are used. Yep, that's logical.

2006
Felix Jones (shitty and inconsistent in the NFL; never more than 800 yards)
Darren McFadden (has played on loaded Oakland teams and can't produce)
2007
Tarrion Adams (who dis?)
2008
Tarrion Adams (not even drafted)
2009
Ben Tate (a whole lot of running his mouth but a distinct lack of production is what Tate will be remembered for)
2010
Cam Newton (bust)
Michael Dyer (tPOS)
2011
Michael Dyer (felon)
2012
David Oku (not even on an NFL roster)
2013
Tre Mason (scorching the NFL with an unbelievable 270 rushing yards this season)
Nick Marshall (multiple offender tPOS)

Face it, Boogs, y'all's RBs solely produce based off of the system. I don't see any Texas Tech fans bragging about Sonny Cumbie and Graham Harrell. Take the hint because your Bulldog daddy is about to (a) show you what real RBs look like and (2) go in dry.

Not sure if light satire or actually has hole in head

I'm a Roc Thomas fan, but he has never been able to stay healthy long enough to do that.

Sadly, no. Most bammers don't grasp the concept of sarcasm.

Payne is good but not what i would classify as a difference maker. I attribute alot of his yards to being in that system and having the threat of marshall for defenses to contend with.
