So you're telling me the allure of Gus was based off of two miraculous, highly improbable plays against Auburn's two biggest rivals?

Ground breaking.

Auburn won its last 2 games. One against a team consistently ranked in the top 20 the last 10 years and another in a hard fought over time victory. It sounds better when you say it that way.

Or you could say they beat a school known much more for basketball and one known much more for , uh, well, um, something, I'm sure.

They pretty much went in dry against LSU last season. Not sure if they means much, but there you go.

Last time I checked Auburn was 2-0 and they'll be 3-0 soon. It's threads like these that are gonna make the Auburn fans more unbearable than usual, when they beat LSU.
