Lawson said the Newtons (Cecil; his wife, Jackie; and Cam) had been interviewed by the NCAA and had been "truthful and candid." He said they will answer "any and all questions."

Sorry Auburn.

Cam has auditioned for the NFL all he needs.

Cam has ZERO interest in protecting Auburn or MSU at this point.

As the noose tightens, the lips loosen.

auburn gets half a year of thrills and an NCAA smackdown.

Cam gets half a year to go from an unknown with talent to a proven enough commodity that he'll have NFL teams vying for him in the draft.

Deciding to play him at UGA is the nail in the coffin.

PUNKED.

Actually, I think Cam's attorney talking any is a bad sign for AU, the Newton's are looking out for themselves now. They are no longer following the AU "no comment". Now what they say in public is irrelevant, but what will they say to investigators?

Cecil wants a deal and why not. He can walk keep the moey and Cam will buy him a new house...probbaly up north somewhere or he can be indicated and get a nice 10x10 room for the next 8-12 years..
