you have had 4 or 5 players accept illegal benefits under Saban according to both the NCAA and bammer themselves.

Name them. Ingram & Jones? Not considered major based on the amount of the "benefits" (if you can call fishing a benefit). They paid that back and case was closed. Dareus? Paid back benefit of travel to party in miami and served multi-game suspension. Clinton-Dix? Amount of loan was less than $500 and bank records show that money was paid back. He also served multi-game suspension and the employee who gave the loan was terminated.

The only example of a player receiving money from someone associated with the University was Clinton-Dix and the value was less than $500 Facts are not on your side, auburnphan23

doesn't even count Pat White's claim of reciving a 30 or 40 thousand dollar car from bammer

Again, facts simply not on your side
quote:

"My statement was that I am still glad I turned down a Corvette from the Crimson Tide to become a Mountaineer -- which is not at all saying the University of Alabama offered me a car," said White, who finished third in Mr. Football voting in Alabama in 2003. "There are plenty of people associated with or even want to be associated with (Alabama) in that area or around the area. I wasn't saying Alabama offered me a car."

quote:

DJ Fluker's admission of accepting money

This is the one that, as a fan of a rival team, I could see appearing most believable. However, if you've ever heard DJ Fluker speak, read any of his tweets prior to or after the tweet in question, or had a conversation with him you would know he simply doesn't talk/type in the manner of that tweet. An admission from DJ would not have read like
quote:

yea i took $ n college so wat. i did wat i had to do. agents was tryin to pimp me so i pimped them. cast da 1st stone

That's not how he talks. Find a single other tweet - before of after - that communicates in that same pattern. I'm not saying DJ didn't get anything from agents (big difference in agents paying vs coaches paying as the AU group accused). He may have. If he did, he would not have admitted it in that pattern. That looks like he was hacked by a racist who doesn't know him.

quote:

dozens of pictures that would convince anyone outside your own retarded fan base that half your team accepted illegal benefits from t-town men's wear

gonna use the AU defense here when the ncaa gave au thorough investigation during the Cam stuff. if there was something to be found, it would have been found. NCAA and Bama looked into all of this and found that, while t-town menswear was not without fault, it was also not a "booster" and that Bama did the right course of action in response.

your blind hate still amazes me though. where is it rooted?

Neither was our offense. Your logic fails you.

not really, he was speaking specifically about jeremy johnson and how he played against the hogs. how your offense performed the rest of the season doesn't have much to do with johnson- does it?

Sure it does. If WR's know their routes better, Johnson looks like a better passer. Further, Johnson progressed through the season, too.

he threw 16 passes against us and no more than 5 against anyone else and there were 7 games he saw no action (or had no stats) at all, including your last 2.

Auburn has still won 17 games more games than Alabama since 2000
On the field, Bama has won 137 games to AU's 133 since 2000.

Your retarded arse can spin it anyway you want, but Brandon Gibson, Marcel Dareus, and HaHa Clinton being proven to accept illegal benefits is certainly worse than the HBO allegations your retarded fans keep bringing up where the players themselves admit to having zero proof to back up their claims

Bammer has also pretty much admitted guilt in the DJ Fluker situation considering they have banned Luther Davis from their campus for life for serving as the middle man between Fluker and the agent. Yet Bammer nor the NCAA has done anything to Fluker himself.

Pat White still claims he was offered a car to play at Bammer. He just claims the offer didn't come from an actual coach, but that doesn't matter one iota considering anyone with the financial resources and emotional investment to offer him a car is likely still a Bammer booster and would still be a major NCAA violation

Are you trying to tell me that Bama players receiving benefits from Boosters is worse than Auburn players receiving thousands and thousands of dollars directly from coaches?

oh hey this morphed into a Bammer cheats thing who could have seen that one coming?

Auburn has been up and down since Dye. Tubberville was the closest to come to consistent winning but he frustrated all the Auburn fans I know with the ALMOST really good seasons that surrounded the 2004 season. Gus had a break out year which regressed but he brought in a solid defensive coordinator so who knows.

It's a fun point to use for trash talk but past results have absolutely no baring on future results.

Auburn football has lost at least 5 games in 5 of the past 7 seasons

Auburn has also won 9 of the last 15 Iron Bowls and 18 of the last 32.

They also won 6 straight from 2002-2007 and won 8 Iron Bowls from 1997-2007.

In Bama's last 'down' period from 1997-2007, they won one SEC Title and ZERO National Titles,
while Auburn has won two SEC Titles and one National Title in the last 5 years, despite their 5-loss years.

Just sayin' and comparin'.......

Amazing that even with all those arbitrary timeframes, Alabama still has more wins "this century".

You'd think as bad as Alabama was - that Auburn would have a higher head to head advantage and certainly more overall wins.
