Sunday I'm going to Hale County to volunteer. For those that don't know, Hale County is just west of T-Town and got hit just as bad as T-Town. Unfortunately, Hale County is one of the poorest counties in the state. They have no where near as many resources as T-Town. If anyone wants to donate anything to this community email me at lee.county.tiger@gmail.com and I can meet up with you and take this stuff to these people.

Anything. I know one of my friends is donating bottled water and some clothes. But food ready to eat, more bottled water, clothes, etc. I'll have a full list of what is needed as soon as I get home and can post it. But I'll take anything that can be of help.

There's a group leaving from B'ham tomorrow from All Saints Episcopal Church in Homewood at noon. They'll also be leaving Sunday from the same place at the same time. So if you want to donate anything you can take it there.

Alright guys, here's an official list of things needed:

Bottled water
- Large tents & tarps
- Blankets
- Food – ready to eat
- Clothing
- Baby Formula
- All household items

If you are in Birmingham, please take these things to All Saints Episcopal Church in Homewood before noon Saturday. If you're in Auburn, contact me at lee.county.tiger@gmail.com and I'll set up a place to meet so I can get these things from you. For those of you who aren't in either location, please find either the nearest place you can donate these things. What I take will be helping Hale County, but no matter who you send this stuff through, I can promise that it will help, no matter where it ends up. Thank you for doing this, it truly means a lot to me since these people I'm going to help truly are my 2nd family.

Good luck LCT! Most of Hale County is third world to begin with. I can't imagine it now.

Thank you for your help. It has been amazing seeing so many people rally around and helping those they do now know.

Good job. The Mrs and I are doing something similar. On the way back from a Pratt City dropoff this morning we heard about how Franklin County (Russellville and near Hackleburg) isn't getting a lot of supplies or relief.Called a UMC there and the pastor said they can use ANYTHING.

Borrowed my dad's pick-up and we're taking stuff up their in the morning. Anyone near by want to bring something over let me know and we'll coordinate.

Don't forget to add hand can openers to the list. I live in hurricane land and most people forget about can openers.

God Bless you.

Whoa, what part of Hale County got hit? The Greensboro area or the Moundville area?

More Greensboro side than Moundville side. I'll be over in Sawyerville doing work.
