That game scares me. Mississippi State could come into our house and beat us with a defense better than what we saw last week.

I understand where you're coming from there, but there were more than a handful of Auburn fans gloating about the offense ya'll had last season after the opener. However, I do recognize that Malzahn is head and shoulders better, and has a better situation.

We had like 300 yards rushing and 100 yards passing against ULM. While the stats looked pretty; most people recognized that most good teams have a better run defense and that the offense just wasn't clicking.

No, no they did not. Most were in denail until the Vandy debacle.

Maybe the morons. And they always speak louder than the rational people.

For myself, I was hopeful if anything. That ULM performance offered some hope; but nothing to brag about. That game was highlighted more of our awesome defense that year. Six straight quarters without giving up a point.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Dixon can do for us. I hear he has lost weight and should be faster, just hope he stays sober the rest of the week.

Good point and you are obviously not in the league of boog idiots that includes guys like CPA, Calhoun, The Wolf 2004, Miami, etc.

I can't figure out why A bama fan is posting this trying to troll Auburn after his team won the big game. Maybe it is a sense of nervousness deep down inside.

Getting Dixon back will be huge for State.

I didn't catch the opener for you guys; how'd your team look?

We should've scored more points but fumbles, missed field goals, and flags hurt us. We really need to clean that up. I think our D will still be pretty good, but our offense line worries me. Here are some players to watch out for

WR Brandon Heavens

WR Chad Bumphis

RB Robert Elliott

QB Chris Relf

no Im not nervous but the AU fans at the bar I was at were extremely annoying when we were down by one talking all kinds of smack and as soon as we went ahead they got the hell out of dodge... I just find it funny... I mean no offense but damn it's La. Tech and you guys struggled with them until the 3rd quarter...

Of course I wanted Bama to win. I had $ on them.
Oh well, if they lost, it would have been worth it to see the meltdown.

I wasn't "distraught", that bama won, I fully expected them to win. I am way more excited about the way our team played Saturday, more than anything else. Many of us were uneasy from the get go last year, the offense never seemed to click, never seemed to be on the same page. Whatever it was, it seems to be gone now and that gives me hope. We have some tremendous problems to overcome, and next weeks game is going to be tough, but I see improvement and that is a good thing.

Don't give a shite about Bama. Didn't watch the bama game until the AU game was over or during halftime.

You gumps just wish we cared half as much about you as you do about us I suppose.
