Is he gone? Hearing alot of stuff about him having a really good interview with Southern Miss. Of course I also heard that Nussmeier had a good interview as well, so there's that. I know he and Gus don't always get along, but is there any truth to this?

From what I've heard the problem isn't with Gus and D. Craig, but with Lashlee and D.Craig.
Craig supposedly doesn't like the "golden boy" status of Lashlee.
Don't know how true any of that is, but I wouldn't be shocked if Craig did leave

Couldn't really blame him if he does leave, especially if Lashlee is kept on board. Lashlee is fricking garbage and must give one helluva blow job for Gus to keep him around.

If Southern Miss is interviewing Pruitt, Nuss, and Craig - then they just became my second favorite team. That's doin the Lord's work right there.

And by heard you mean like a month ago some random dude on AU board said his buddy whose son works for AD told him all of this...
I like how if something is said enough on here it eventually molds into truth. AU rivals fans used to call Lashlee the golden boy now that we have had a down year AU fans have jumped on as well so Craig must also be calling him that as well
As for DC leaving rumors there have been hints an offensive coach might be on the way out after NSD. By hints I mean Phillip Marshall said there was a chance we would lose an offensive coach. I would hope Craig wouldn't promise these kids stuff and then bail but who knows, college coaching is a give not shits biz. If it's a HC position at Southern Miss though then i can't really blame him. That would be a nice step up

I can definitely see that. At this point, he would do just about anything to get away from Gus and Lashlee, at least from what my Aubie friends are telling me.
