I didn't give it my all. I think the rest of the Aubie posters on here will say the same. It is our fault.

ETA: WG, way too early to give them the correct answer. The first 10 posts are reserved for blathering back and forth.

We were on the top of the world and loss to a decent TAMU at HOME in a strange game that we should have won. We played bad, their was some luck for TAMU, but bottom line WE LOSS.

Carried over to UGA who is a good team in Athens, lost to Bama in Ttown (again a good team).

So we lost three straight SEC games at the end. 1 is not like the others.'

Losing on the road back to back to UGA and Bama would not be uncommon for any SEC team.

what carried over, yall playing bad and us getting luck?

It was a brand new ball game, nothing carries over. You were just flat out dominated by the better team. It happens. Happens to us every year, sometimes you just beat simple as that.

This. Eventually, our offense wasn't going to be able to cover the points our defense allowed. The only game where that was not the case was the Georgia game

It was a combination of frickery.

1. Ellis Johnson's D scheme.
2. Schedule caught up with the team.
3. Wind went out of the team's sail after the way they lost to A&M with the butt fumble.
4. Offensive play-calling in the red zone.

You really cant

And I know you are trolling but I am bored

Got out played by Miss St

Was getting beat by TAM but still had a chance to win and LUTZ'ed it away

Got spanked by UGA from the time we got off the bus

Had the Alabama game in hand and kicked too many field goals

Gave up in the Bowl game against Whisky.

No one said otherwise, but that doesn't exclude us from playing poorly.

No one is diminishing georgia here.

Sorry if that's how my post seemed, I didn't take it as a shot at georgia. I just don't totally buy in that bad play "carried over" from atm. These are college football players playing in a big time night game on the road. I don't think they went in saying "well shucks, we played bad against atm, guess we're behind the 8 ball in this one". Plus yall stormed out of the gates and took a 7-0 lead without much resistance from us. I guess my main point was that every game is a new beginning, I don't think anything that happened in any previous game had an affect on the uga game.

It wasn't luck, but it appeared auburn experienced a letdown after the A&M loss.... there were some behind the scenes stuff going on with the defense as well, even before losing to the aggies.

To act like nothing carries over in college football is fricking stupid... these are 18-20 year olds... Emotions are affected

Lack of pass rush and relatively difficult schedule were large contributing factors. Bad luck/breaks hurt in a game or two. Just the typical nature of the game.

We'll just have to disagree. I guess on paper you coudl say "the team lost to [blank] so they were bummed out when they played [blank]" but I don't buy that.

ellis johnson had a fine reputation until......

maybe that high school offense makes it very hard to have a highly ranked defensive
