Offer to write his papers, don't do them, and get him academically suspended so he can't play

With spelling like "secrant", this guy writing Neiko's papers is sure to get him academically ineligible.

Neiko hasn't played poorly this year. It isn't his or any of the other db's fault that our DL can't get any presssure on the qb's. When you consistently give the other teams qb more than 5 seconds to throw the ball they are going to find an open wr regardless of who you have playing db.

meh, It seems like all of them don't know to turn around and look for the ball to not get the PI call. What makes it bad is that they've been there to cover alot of these passes but don't play on the ball so the pass is caught or the PI is called.

Thorpe does make some plays here and there that he don't get credit for but I'll be glad to see him go & wish the best for him. At least he got to be a part of a NC team.

I'm not saying Neiko is playing at an all SEC level but if someone is going to get called out it should at least be the guys who were expected to play at a high level. T Bell has played like shite. I believe the only 2 passes he has broken up both hit him in the back of the helmet and he has been burnt more than a few times. Lemonier and Ford have got to step up. The DE's were suppossed to have been a strength for our team but through 4 games now they have a total of 3 sacks.

The LBs, particularly Bates and Holland have been the biggest weakness, followed by the d-line, followed by T-Bell, followed by Green and Slade.

The problem is, even if we fix a majority of the issues, there is no fix that I see at LB. You can't defend without decent LB play.

I agree, After the way T Bell finished last season I thought he was really gonna be a factor this year. Same for Ford and Lemonier (ESP) plus Nosa E. WTF is up with NOSA?

Tell me about it. I've never seen a "Motto" drive so many opposing fan bases so crazy. I've seen the Gumps repeatedly attack this, I think they follow in they're Idols footsteps (Finebaum) on this. It drives him crazy.

It's so ironic to hear all these bama fans sucking up to a UT alum..

IMO, he is the only one playing up to his potential. He has played better than the other d-linemen.

White should be playing more. He is the only LB I see that shows more than just decent play. I'd rather go nickel most of the time with White, Holland, and Therezie as the NB. At least he can tackle.

I agree to a point but I also believe they would be playing a lot better if the interior DL could keep the OL from getting to them so quickly. I see on a lot of the Auburn boards people blaming the coaches for not bringing in more talent at lb or signing a JC guy last year. Our lb group would look a lot better if J Curry doesn't run his mouth and get into the doghouse causing him to transfer, J White doesn't miss a whole year due to his medical problems, Kris Frost hurting his shoulder and Chris Landrum breaking his ankle.

White hasn't been really healthy. Hoping he plays more now that he is.

I agree, but we have who we have and I don't think they are good enough for this D to be successful. Certainly stronger d-line play can mask some of the LB deficiencies and Holland still could develop into a good LB with more and more experience, but I don't see it getting much better this season.

This is one of the biggest issues, imo. We'll play nickel with two LB's, have a giant hole blown open in our DL and have one LB there to take on a FB and a pulling guard. It's just not gonna work. And then comes Bell in to miss another tackle. So frustrating.

I'll feel much better about our DL next year after they've all got a pretty amount of experience. An interior DL with sophs and Fr is a recipe for a bad run defense.

Its definitely not going to get much better this season, but i've seen flashes from these guys that shows me they have it in them. Holland was a tackeling machine in HS, and I watched him a good bit, and I believe he can be a really solid SEC LB, he just isn't there yet. I've seen plays this season that show he's got the ability to be really good, he just needs to be more consistent.
