I started a thread like this the other day. . . One barner said "we didn't win it for yalls bitter asses". Neither did the rest of us. We did it to bring a stronger light upon our conference.
But I can see why they didn't chant and represent the SEC. it's not like they've been to worried about our reputation all season long; why start now?

I heard it very clearly during the trophy presentation.
The Duck fan in this thread, who was actually there, also heard it in the stadium.
So it's been established that AU fans did in fact chant "S-E-C" after the game.
Not sure why some of this thread's participants seem to be willfully ignoring that fact to further their own pet theories.

I was at the game and only a few fans started the S-E-C, it quickly died... With all the hate from folks at Alabama and UGA and the Mullens at MSU, why would Auburn Chant S-E-C...
This Championship was about Auburn, It is GREAT to be an Auburn Tiger...
Just because we prefered It is GREAT over S-E-C should not be seen as a snub or somehow wrong...

When every other school does it and you don't, its a problem. Just the typical barner arrogance, for some reason thinking they're above the rest of us. Bet your arse auburn never turned down a sec check from all the other teams bcs wins. Considering y'all had ONE appearance before now. You boogs are hilarious. You need the sec 1000x more than we'd ever need you.
