That was a pitch to Roc Thomas but he was already on the bus heading for Jacksonville State to transfer. So it looked worse than it really was.

Jeremy Johnson looked great in the 1/2 of football I saw him play last year against Arkansas, greatness is right around the corner! Auburn is getting their head kicked in because they are soft on both lines of scrimmage. Smoke and mirrors only works for so long, then you gotta block and tackle.

Hell, y'all won't even discuss the notion of throwing throwing the football and only respond in smartass comments and questions. We aren't even talking about wins or losses. Every fanbase gets blindsided by unexpected losses. Y'all take it so much farther though. Why pass the ball?
why throw when you have the best player in the country?

Yes and no. JJ has had time to throw plenty of times and he has made poor decisions. I don't recall him being under duress when he decided to throw it to Manti Te'o's girlfriend behind him.

Johnson isn't even in the same league as Harris and it'll show this week. Harris has a 70% completion percentage and he's averaging 9 YPC rushing. He's a good QB and the coaches did what they needed to do to win both games without taking any unnecessary risks, ya'll's QB looks like a complete clown out there

Bama fans are such insecure fricks. Y'all lost to Ole Miss and had the collective meltdown of the century, no need to write 30 paragraphs explaining why LSU fans are the ones that can't handle losses. Go kick your dog and shoot one of your family members in the chest and GTFO you fricking gump

Not really. Our offense needs a player, not a game manager. But if we were looking for a QB to hand off every play then sure
So Brandon Harris doesn't have the tools to succeed in Malzahns system? You think Malzahn would use Harris the same way Cam and Miles do? Brandon Harris seems to be a better runner and have a better arm than JJ and would probably thrive in a high school system, and wouldn't have the giant learning curve he has had in running a pro style offense.

He hasn't shown it. And at the "giant learning curve" comment. Is handing off and tossing the ball that hard?

No offense but you sound as desperate for approval as an Aggie.
Check that.....Big Offense.

How did Auburn get that much worse from last year? Auburn went from bottling up the guy to calling pussy timeouts to try and score meaningless touchdowns to make it look like Auburn didn't get its brakes beaten off.

So you agree that Harris isn't even good?
How will we ever live without his elite 70 passing yards a game?

And, of course you missed my main point.

I have no idea what went so wrong so quickly with JJ. I hope for his sake, the light bulb comes on at some point.
Brandon Harris has looked pretty good. Last year he was not ready, but he seems to be getting more confident in every game. I am really curious to see how he does if Alabama is able to limit LF.
