The likelihood of a woman having ptsd from combat roles is unlikely.

Even the rest of the Auburn fans here were literate enough to grasp the part about the sexual assault that happened during her military service. Try to keep up, ok?

it's a lose/lose... the best thing to do is apologize to the crazy attention whores and hope the story dies.

this chick is literally the perfect "victim", and she (and her family) appear to know it... nothing is gained by anybody pointing out the holes in the female/ex-military/rape victim/disabled/ person's story.

Too bad this incident won't cause AU to stop picking up tPOS's from UGA or UF any time soon.

Like it or not, when Malzahn's photo is on AL.com making apologies for the behavior of his players, it's a story. Don't like that? Blame the media.

To be honest, apologizing and putting it behind is the best thing to do. This isn't some criminal event or lawsuit or anything of the sort. The only reason I as an Auburn Alum would want them to investigate this further is if the sister keeps trumpeting this as loud as possible as if there was some heinous act that happened which slanders the University as a whole. In that case line up the witnesses and have a full report released.

They have service dogs for veterans with PTSD.

I have never heard of that and I did one deployment to Afghanistan myself.

Jesus fricking Christ...you're too stupid to be an Auburn fan. Everyone in the thread could see the link to this page. Or were the letters PTSD and DO NOT PET SERVICE DOG not big enough for you to read?

Based upon what witnesses are saying about the incident, I'm siding with the players on this one.

Regardless of what all the facts are in this situation...and I'm not discounting the possibility that the woman may be overreacting, it does seem to call into question that whole "Auburn Family" thing. One one hand you have football players being abusive to a fellow student, and on the other hand a student and her family/friends trying to embarrass the university as much as possible over it. If it's a "family" it's pretty dysfunctional.

Don't believe this happened.

Which is interesting because the girl's sister and husband are Bama fans.

If you had exercised a little of that "Common Sense" and read the thread, you wouldn't look like an idiot.

This is YOUR response, from that thread, to an AUBURN FAN:

quote:

Well, here's a stat for you. We stopped playing Auburn for forty fricking years. How do you like that stat? Only a fricking moron would seriously compare the Iron Bowl to TSIO from a historical point of view.

Common Sense is no idiot

He's doing damage control, but to say these guys "Abused" this woman is absurd.

At this point, I'm guessing the girl wishes she'd just quietly taken her berating like a good second class family member.
