Someone posted a comment in my other thread today asking why I didn't make a comment for why I'm not saying Alabama needs to show improvement on defense compared to my comment that Auburn needs to show improvement on defense.

Here is my answer.....

Alabama total defense ranking:

2009 #3

2010 #7

2011 #1

2012 #2

2013 #4

2014 #20

LINK

2014: 58

2013: 115

2012: 64

2011: 91

2010: 94

2009: 82

LINK

You can't expect Alabama to be perfect on defense in every game during every season. Sure they are flawed right now with the deep pass, but that isn't enough to prevent them a shot at winning a national title.

So, I am sorry Auburn fans, but I just wanted to point out in a thread why I said what I said.

Good luck this season.

Auburn had their best defense statistically in six season last year? What are the scoring defense rankings? Something is off about that.

He's a tard. Just posted total yards. That doesn't take into account how many games that were played. Just looked at 2010 Auburn. Jumps to 60 when you sort by yards per game.

You don't need another thread to explain a post you made in an existing thread.

If any Auburn fan is insulted by any of your posts they should be ashamed. Just stop already. Your knowledge of the game doesn't surpass anyone else already posting, so stop thinking you are enlightening anyone..

So let's see, Auburn needs a scoring D that ranks about #45 and we're going to the ship. Sounds good. Muschamp has never fielded a D that performed that poorly. His scoring D's are usually top 10. I think we're golden.

It would suck to be a Nebraska fan and it would suck to live in Wisconsin.. So I don't blame you for all these threads. It has to be somewhat soothing.

Well, fortunately for the OP neither applies to him. Think north of Louisiana and south of Missouri...

Why in the world do you think that is an Arkansas alter?

Auburn isn't going to have a top 10 scoring defense this year or any year in the near future.

Since Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa, AU's defense hasn't been close to Bama's. There is no debate. They've won games, we've won games. Please don't ever insult us in comparing these two defenses UNTIL auburn fields a real defense. Thanks.

Since Saban arrived at Auburn....

Auburn has been in a fascination with offense not defense, first Tubberville hiring the spread whisperer, then a NC winning HC being fired after a bad year to bring back another spread guru.

Defense isn't a high priority on the plains.

Correct. And they wonder why they didn't win it all in 2013. Well your defense blew goats and when it mattered most, you couldn't keep FSU from going 80 yards in 1 fricking minute. And who was the bum that gave up all of the big plays????

Chris Davis. Yes that guy. Rashad Greene and Kelvin Benjamin absolutely molested that dude all game and in particular on that final drive. So while he may have been the "hero" in Kick 6, he certainly was the billy goat in losing the National Title. There is no disputing that.
