That left Nick Saban with a dilemma: Take the highly rated guys or honor your commitment to Philon, who has been so committed to UA that he refused to even take another recruiting visit.

If this is true, don't you have an issue with the decision made by Alabama to pull the offer from the young man?

The butthurt from 42-14 and another NC is still very strong in Mr. Moon.

If Auburn fans/writers/coaches and whoever represents them today would worry more about their own situation instead of always comparing everything they do with Bama, they would be better off. You love your coach. We love our coach, so everyone should be happy. We don't want yours and you don't want ours, so quit comparing the two. Coach Saban doesn't tell me how to do my job, so I won't tell him how to do his. If Auburn doesn't have a good season this next year or in 2013, I bet a lot of Auburn fans will regret this decision that he made, and wish he were a little more like Saban.

He was offered Greyshirt. Offer was not pulled. I feel bad for the guy but the facts are wrong.

I think that's awesome. I wonder how supportive the fans of that fine institution will be if he continues to post 8-5 seasons? I guess CGC can always ask Tubbs about how he was treated with class and dignity.

Mr. Moon is an Alabama Fan... He went to Liberty and knows nothing about sports...

Still I am not sure how you can defend pulling a guys scholarship at the last second.

If recruits can change their commitment then why can't a school?

BS move by Saban, any criticism he gets on this is well deserved.

I've lived in the Montgomery area for over 20 years. This is 100% false.

Philon and Taylor both signed with SEC schools. Nothing to feel sad about for those two.

Guess he didn't see the Chiz's press conference where he was specifically asked about this yesterday and replied that they were in fact 1 year scholarships because that is all thsat can be offered. BTW this info comes directly from the wankers on the bunker.

**Auburn, like Florida and the Big Ten schools, has signed its football players to four-year scholarships and not the standard one-year deals.
