Let's take a guess of which players NCAA interviewed regarding their recruitment by OM.

1) Lew Lewis - Committed to OM but flipped eventually

2) Fletcher Adams - Brother went to state but OM fans still thought they had a shot ($$$$).

3) Jeffery Simmons -
quote:

"It's the first time I haven't been able to get anybody on the phone there," says Farrar, rubbing his chin nervously.
We all remember who Farrar is, don't we?
quote:

The feeling among Ole Miss' coaches is that it's either them or Alabama for Simmons, who finally strolls to the podium just past 11:30. Everybody in the room is glued to the television, and it's hard to hear anybody even breathing.

There's a glitch in the feed just as he's about to announce, which might have been a bad omen for Ole Miss. The picture returns just in time to see Simmons put a Mississippi State cap onto his head. Somebody in the room exclaims, "What? Mississippi State?" And then it's the quietest it has been all day, and within minutes, the room looks like a ghost town.

Maybe you didn't read the article.

quote:

NCAA Enforcement representatives have visited Auburn and Mississippi State, and perhaps at least one more SEC Western Division school, this summer to speak with players who were recruited by Ole Miss. The players were granted immunity from potential NCAA sanctions in exchange for truthful accounts of their recruitment, sources said.

Sorry they took your money and ran. It takes a certain kind of player to jump into that culture yall created.

Dudes almost 60, and has never had a head coaching job. It's the only reason he went to JSU, but by all means, believe whatever you want.

Cowart and Holland. They visited Ole Miss with CeCe and weren't really considering them until after.

The JSU gig is his last job before retiring.

It is most likely Austin Golson for the Auburn player if I had to guess.

Probably to take the head coaching job? I could see your point if he was the DB coach at JSU or something.

JSU fired their last 5 or 6 coaches. Nobody retires from Jackson State. The last coach was an alum and got fired after year 2.

Hughes is on the run

Dude you are seriously clueless or an alt. There was an article and interview with Tony Hughes 3 or 4 years ago where he discussed his longing to be a head coach before he retired from the game. You just throw out shite hoping it sticks? Everyone at Msu knows he's wanted a head coaching job and Dan Mullen made him an assistant head coach in hopes of helping his resume. You must be an alt.

You really didn't understand that article, you rube.

The NCAA is asking our players about their recruitment to Ole Miss and were granted immunity from any violations related to them. How exactly is that bad for anybody but Ole Miss?

Hugh Freeze says he calls Chris Jones to have "talks about life" on the reg. Why the heck would good ole Hugh call a player on a rival team to chat it up? I bet he is one who squealed on the rat. Thank you Mr. Jones.
