This game is supposed to be played with everyone in jackets and the Holidays around the corner. We haven't even had daylight savings time yet.

At first, I honestly thought something was wrong with the schedule I was looking at.

Agreed.

I hope this is one of the items addressed in the next round of expansion.

I do understand Auburn not wanting to play Georgia and Bama in back-to-back SEC games... and the facts do show that Auburn's schedule has been enormously more difficult the past 10 years compared to others in the West by playing Georgia annually.... but with Texas and Oklahoma joining the league, everyone's schedule is likely getting a major boost in difficulty.

The game needs to be in November.

"Amen Corner" is a huge part of this rivalry for a reason.

It was also because the home schedule in November was crappy in the even years when both games were on the road. They used to be staggered home-away before the 2012 expansion.

It's not playing them in back-to-back games, it's playing them either both at home or both on the road (and really the latter) in back-to-back games.

Yes I was an Aub who though it was great that uga had to come to the plains twice in a row in 2013-14. We did not realize how fricked up that would make future schedules.

If you split this back up in having those as 1 home and 1 away game every year -- even if that means giving uga 2 consecutive home games -- I'm right there with you in moving this game back to November.

I will miss amen corner and this game being played in November. I can't believe the SEC fricked this one up.

Kind of how South Carolina-Georgia played in November last year. Our game should always be in the first 3 weeks of the season.

Well, there was a stretch when it really wasn't that bad for Auburn. Georgia was a kinda top-25 team under Donnan and Alabama was a dumpster fire post-Stallings.

Then in 2001 Georgia brings in Richt and they become a fairly consistent top 10 team, but Alabama was going to continue sucking (with the rare good year) until Saban showed up in 2007.

It's after Richt built up the talent level and Saban started winning at Alabama that this turned from a "that's neat" two-game stretch to an "OH MY GOD MAKE IT STOP" two-game stretch.

The cried to mommy about their schedule being too tough. SEC agreed so they would STFU.

Can’t believe UGA didn’t push back to get the return game they owe us.

Let's do this. I'm all for it... especially if it moves it back to November.

Pretty much every Auburn fan is on board with this.

I've always said this. WGAF if we have to do 2 years there to get this back to normal.

I fully support this

If the Auburn fans are fine with it, sign them up for back to backs in Athens.

Get this game back into November where it belongs.

You must be a kid or something if you believe that is what the issue was.

We just wanted it not to be both away games back to back every other year. We want it back to the way it was. The more you know.
