I remember storming the court when Devan Downey single-handedly beat #1 UK. So glad I got to experience that in my life.

I was there that day ... sitting beside Eric Hyman and Mrs. Dodie.
I enjoyed seeing our kids storm the court ... it was a lot of fun.
Obama had called the Kentucky team that day, had them on the speaker phone in the visitor's locker room at the CLA .... congratulating them for being ranked #1.
Downey was on a mission that day. He was not an Obama fan, obviously.

Glad they did. Fun to beat a ranked team, especially when we haven't been relevant in a decade+. And we had a ton of recruits there too.

This is definitely not a great Kentucky team by our standards, but it was Auburn's 2nd win over us since 1990 and first since 2000. I may be wrong, but I believe it was Pearl's first win over a ranked opponent as well. Auburn made plays when it counted and shot lights out. They earned the right to storm the court on us.
