We had 10 total turnovers today. The turnovers or rebounding wasn't the problem. It was the lid on the basket.

Damn i didnt realize auburn lost to BC. ouch

That's a bad loss. They're going to have win 11-12 in conference play to make the tourney. Their SOS is horrible.

Correct. And we are 10-2. So when we make those bad plays only 60 percent of the time, we will be very good.

Didn't have Wiley. If they start to play better and gel, it will be forgotten.

Congrats, AU. I hate UConn. Glad to see an SEC team burn down their house.

Jarnell Stokes was a 5* big man who enrolled at Tennessee in the mid term in 2012 and played at an All SEC level. Tennessee finished 2nd in the SEC that year but did not make the tourney due to a few bad losses before he joined the team.

Auburn's resume right now is better than Tennessees was at the mid term that year but I wouldn't count on the committee weighing Wiley's arrival that heavily.

Didn't help that you lost in the 1st round of the conference when you had to win a couple. I agree though. We can go 10-8 with a few big wins and still need to do well in the tournament. X-factor is if they beat TCU. Would put them at 21-10 and could still sneak in with an opening loss. Moot though if we don't start playing way, way better.

The fact we're even talking about the NCAA is good enough for me. This trajectory is pointed north homeys!

No shite. Two wins over big-12 teams, and a win over Uconn. I'll take it, regardless of how good they are this year. AU is starting 4 freshman, that's got to count for something.

I don't think this can be understated. You gotta figure that Purifoy will calm some of his erratic play, and Wiley is only going to get better in leaps and bounds as we get into conference play. He has great hands around the bucket, and he's super athletic for a guy that's 6'10". Jared Harper is already asserting himself as a go to guy when we need a bucket, and I thought McLemore really came on in the Uconn game today.

I haven't been this excited about AU basketball since 1999. I know we'll drop some in conference play that we shouldn't because of our inconsistent play, but DAMN we are athletic and we hustle. That'll get us some we shouldn't win, too.

Auburn has talent at every position and has plenty of depth. If we dont make it to the NCAA tournament this year i will be disappointed.

Auburn has a very good chance to make the dance this year.

Those saying otherwise are stupid.
