Arkansas record in 2008:

5-7
2-6 in the SEC

Am I doing it right?

I'll take "What comes out of left field" for $100 Alex.

He's saying this because Ensminger was the offensive coordinator.

If we are being honest those averages might actually be better than our current averages on the year.

So hooray we are getting an upgrade.

So he is an improvement over Cam Cameron?

Your win over TCU is going to look a lot worse after Oklahoma pushes their shite in.

An improvement across the board for LSU!

To be fair, Ensminger shared the OC duties with Hugh Nall (offensive line coach). This is why us AU folk consider it the "Nallsminger" offense.

Yes it was terrible. Yes, it ended up costing Tubs his job. Hugh Nall quit football all together and now works at a trucking company (srs).

Coming into that contest, Arky's defense was giving up an average of 5.9 yards per play. AU managed 3.16.

How do you manage nearly 400 yards of offense but score only once?

Really impressive performance against a mediocre FCS team...of course it was also tied 20-all late in the 3rd quarter.

I think this one speaks for itself.

It was bad enough the other day, when I brought up Ensminger's previous OC experience at AU back in '03.

So one works for a trucking company and the other went on to be interim OC at LSU...

Interdasting

That would be cool and all if it were actually accurate. Ensminger took over the play calling in 08 after Tony Franklin was fired. He and Nall were co-oc's in 2003. Steve certainly did a great job with 3 NFL first rounders in the offensive backfield. Didn't even score a TD until game three and went 7-5. Al Borges showed up the next year and went 13-0 with the same personnel.

Ensminger is probably a good dude but there is a reason why he hasn't been an offensive coordinator for a long, long time

I don't know that anyone is excited about Ensminger at OC. It's just nice to have a change right now.
