I dont think you understand the concept of coming down to the last second.

I believe he's referring to games that were in doubt until the last play. Which basically would mean any one score game where the losing team has possession of the ball at the end.

It sounds like you don't understand the concept.
I think you need to say something like "2-0 in games where the final play is run with 1 second on the clock"
