I don't comprehend how you think a "brand name" sways their opening line.
A couple weeks ago the Green Bay Packers opened as a 1-point favorite on the road against the Detroit Lions.
A game they had no business being favored in. But the public continuously backs Green Bay from week to week because of their offense and Aaron Rodgers and the winning brand they've created over the past 5 or 6 seasons.
Lines open and move all the time based on what the public and sharps bet, depending on the amount of money coming in on each side. The public bets the big name teams who score points and are historically good. On games when the sharps are somewhat split, public bets drive the line in either direction, and they can drive how the lines open as well.
it happens. Georgia and Auburn are both big names and both have good teams this year. Georgia is at home. They'll be favored.

I would bet right now that a 2-loss team gets in the playoff
It's possible, but it wouldn't be Ole Miss

You could be right. I wouldn't bet on it but with so many games yet to be played among the contenders its almost inevitable. No two loss team from the Big Ten (14) Big 12 (10) or the ACC has a prayer and it would take some kind of a miracle for a two loss Pac 12 team to make it but I pretty much expect that there will be a two loss SEC team in the Final Four

Fair enough.
I don't think it'll be Ole Miss either. But hey, we're halfway through the conference schedules, and there are only two undefeated teams left.
It's pretty likely a lot of these teams are gonna take another loss at some point this season.
